“Unaccommodated”
Opus Theatre
Opus Theatre’s follow-up to their performance of “Bride Or Groom” last year will be “Unaccommodated” on Saturday, June 26th and consists of two one-act plays. The first tells the story of Norman Hollinshead, the owner of a large brewery empire, who plans to retire and divide his business between his three daughters. However, things do not go to plan and the scheming of his daughters develops into a family feud. This very entertaining comedy, written by the same authors as “Bride Or Groom”, is based on Shakespeare’s King Lear and promises to be a very enjoyable experience.  The second play is “Say Something Happened”, by Alan Bennett. Mam and dad Rhodes live alone and are visited by a Council official because there is some concern about their welfare, should something untoward happen. This delightful, light-hearted and well observed piece from the master author, and is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face.
