This year’s “Christmas Show” will be on Friday, December 9thth and its format will be much the same as ever, with stories and poetry interspersed with carols and other seasonal music. As usual, the Ridware Mummers will stage their ancient folk play, in addition to their performances around the local hostelries, collecting money for Saint Giles Hospice. We hope members of the audience will stay on after the show and bring a bottle of wine as usual. Coffee, mince pies and other snacks will also be available. Many people tell us that the Christmas Show at Ridware Theatre is their first 'injection' of Christmas spirit and a welcome reminder of the joy and realities of this very special time of year.  Certainly it is an excellent opportunity for meeting fellow theatregoers. Let’s hope we won’t be thwarted by Wintry weather on this occasion.
